Walnut is one of my favorite woods. It is dense enough to withstand denting and scratching and the variety of tones and hues is spectacular. It has a beautiful grain pattern and displays a rich, beautiful look.
This walnut table has very simple, sleek lines for a somewhat contemporary feel, while the chairs have graceful curves and a slightly transitional look ( east/ west). These chairs are ergonomically correct with excellent lumbar support and extra plush padding at the seat cushion, which allows for long, lingering discussions after dinner.
